Jim Taratunio is a retires executive who worked in the Managed Care Cost Containment field for the over 40 years. He attended C.W.Post College - LIU with a double major: singing performance as a Tenor and also in Education. He sang Tenor in a number of community choruses, as well as 12 years in Carnegie Hall with the Oratorio Society of New York. He uses his Education major by “teaching” his many clients about the various cost saving products of the companies he has served including CIGNA, Empire BlueCross BlueShield and MultiPlan. 
The area that uplifts and fulfills him the most is AYUDA for the Arts, which he started in 2001, with his wife, Migdalia.  "Since we began AYUDA for the Arts, we have helped dozens of college-bound students pursuing their careers in the arts and have many heart-warming success stories. With the help of a talented and tireless board of directors, we continue to follow our motto: 'Empowering the creative minds of the Future.' "
Jim is also an executive board member, currently Vice President, of in the Massapequa Kiwanis since 2013, where he also serves as chair of the Membership, Publicity and Scholarship Committees and co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee.
